Dharma talk, guided meditation on Sunday at Ak’bol Yoga Retreat
San Pedro friends, a special treat for us all on Sunday, June 14, 4-530 p.m.: Our good friend and Dharmacharya teacher from California, John Salerno-White, is visiting and will be presenting an afternoon of mindfulness and guided meditation at Ak’bol Yoga Retreat and Eco Resort.
John was ordained by Vietnamese Buddhist Zen master Thich Nhat Hahn in 2005 and currently leads three meditation groups back home. John recently completed nine and a half years of Dharma prison practice.
With the guided meditation, John will deliver a Dharma talk on the Three Dharma Seals (Impermanence, Non-self and Nirvana). There is no charge for the afternoon of mindfulness. This is John’s gift to the island. Please join us! — Bob and Rose Alcantara

Regrettably no. Strangely the game being played on a Sunday makes it difficult for many of the guys to go. So we will watch it at Carlo & Ernie’s. The atmosphere -I’m sure- will be good though.

That is great to hear. The game ended just about the same time that we were wrapping up the meditation, after which we scooted down to The Office to go crocodile hunting! But 3-0! Wow!
